A night at the symphony not only provides a lasting memory of refined musical prowess; it also keeps patrons from resorting to the boring routine of watching the TV boil. Mix up the routine with today's GrouponLive deal for one adult and one child ticket to see two Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra performances at the Hilbert Circle Theatre: Dan Zanes & Friends with the MYO on Sunday, October 16 at 3 p.m. and The Language of Music on Sunday, February 26 at 3 p.m. Choose from the following seating options:

  • For $33, you get main-floor seating for one adult and one child to both performances (a $74 value).
  • For $33, you get second-mezzanine seating for one adult and one child to both performances (a $74 value).
  • For $40, you get first-mezzanine seating for one adult and one child to both performances (a $90 value).

The Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra educates and entertains concertgoers of all ages during family-friendly "symFUNy Sundays" performances at the historic Hilbert Circle Theatre. Dan Zanes & Friends, a Grammy award-winning troop behind the music from Playhouse Disney, join the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra's Metropolitan Youth Orchestra for a spirited, family-friendly program stocked with a wide range of instruments, performer ages, and annual incomes. Throughout the performance, audiences are treated to classical instrumentation mixed with the more ramshackle sounds of banjo and ukulele. In The Language of Music, a merry band of melody makers led by conductor David Glover illustrates how music can communicate various ideas and feelings, from falling in love to coping with loss and eating buffalo wings without napkins.
