This was our first time at Defy and it felt like the check in staff member was intentionally unhelpful. The check in process was not very clear and no one seemed to care to explain it to us.
The team member let us stand in a line that she was not servicing for several minutes before notifying us that she was only helping people in the "party check in" line. Once we finally got to the front of that line, she then notified us that we had to buy our tickets online and quickly dismissed us.
She didn't give us the website to purchase our tickets from or notify us that special socks were required. We had to step out of line, google how to purchase tickets online, purchase the tickets, and get back in line for a third time. It was odd that we could not purchase our tickets in person, but she was able to charge us for the socks.
Then there were the intangibles that are difficult to describe. The check in team member made us feel like an inconvenience. As if us being unclear on the process was burdening her and that our questions were taxing. If we weren't with our niece who had been looking forward to playing here for days, we would have left.
Once we finally got our tickets and our socks and got into the course, we had a great time! Hopefully, our experience was just a one time issue and that staff member was just having a bad day. If it wasn't for that experience being so upsetting, I would have given Defy 5 stars.

A dodgeball cage with wall-to-wall trampolines takes everyone’s favorite gym class game to another level, while basketball hoops set above other trampolines give every player the ability to slam dunk.
