Paul Reiser

When Comedy Central ranked the world’s 100 greatest standup comedians, Paul Reiser’s inclusion was a no-brainer. “Two or three times a week I drive by the houses of numbers 78—100 just to rub it in,” dead-panned Reiser, number 77. Perhaps best-known for his starring role alongside Helen Hunt on Mad About You—a sitcom he co-created—Reiser’s career has featured roles ranging from one of the non-alien bad guys in Aliens to appearing as himself in Curb Your Enthusiasm, with a whole lot of comedy in between. When he’s not appearing on screens or garnering laughs onstage, he’s kept himself busy by writing New York Times—bestselling books such as Couplehood and cultivating a successful music career.
