Before the invention of the indoor ice rink, a hockey game could only be played on a frozen pond or lava pit. Appreciate a more modern venue with this GrouponLive deal to the 2012 ECAC Men’s Hockey Championship at Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City. Choose between the following options:

  • For $17, you get one upper-level ticket in sections 208–218 (a $34.64 value)
  • For $19, you get one lower-level ticket in sections 108–118 (a $39.60 value)

For each option, choose between the following sets of games:

This March, the Eastern College Athletic Conference pits the slap shots of its top four teams against each other as they skate toward the title of NCAA Division I conference champions. ECAC is one of the largest conferences in the country, and since 1961, it has housed athletes from 12 distinguished institutions. Though the teams playing in the championship have yet to be determined, crews such as Cornell, Harvard, and Colgate will all strive to reach the semifinals by fencing their goals with bushels of puck-repelling ivy.

Looming over the ocean since 1929, Boardwalk Hall has welcomed droves of distinguished guests throughout its long history. The entertainment complex’s 137-foot barrel-vault ceiling has arched above celebrities such as The Beatles, Frank Sinatra, and Luciano Pavarotti, as well as sporting events such as the first indoor football game in 1930 and the first time soccer was played with a baseball.
