Alice In Wonderland
In Lewis Carroll’s intricately realized dreamworld, Alice navigates a realm of size-changing elixirs, extraordinary tea parties, and enraged monarchs as she attempts to find her way back up the rabbit hole. It’s a familiar tale that’s taken the form of a silent film, a Disney movie, and countless stage adaptations.
With this adaptation, the story of Alice leaps to life at the toes of Ensemble Ballet Theatre’s young dancers. Through elaborate costumes and innovative choreography, artistic director Kimberly Wooten and the ensemble reintroduce audiences to the mischievous Cheshire Cat, the philosophical Caterpillar, and the ruthless Queen of Hearts, all accompanied by a classical score.
Ensemble Ballet Theatre
Ensemble Ballet Theatre's first production had only 9 dancers. Now there are 52, making for 83% more spectacle in each of the company's annual spring and winter shows. Every year, the ensemble makes the holiday season sparkle with Tchaikovsky's The Nutcracker, and every spring the artistic director chooses a different work from the classic ballet repertoire.
