Largely improvised and fueled by frequent audience promptings, the play follows a pair of gumshoes as they investigate a murder in a local beauty boutique. The duo probes a slew of shady suspects, as well as the audience and the lighting crew, for clues and leads; spectators ultimately indict the offender after some interrogating of their own, resulting in a different and equally uproarious performance each evening. Director Christopher Tarjan presides over a gut-busting troupe of previous cast members with the fluency and knack for comic timing developed over two decades of working with the play.
