What You'll Get

Seeing music live is a great way to really feel the music, especially when you position yourself directly between the cymbals. Be at the center of it all with this deal to see a performance at Ford Community & Performing Arts Center’s Michael A. Guido Theater in Dearborn. For $15, you get one ticket for seating in Orchestra B or Balcony B (up to a $31 value, including all fees). Doors open one hour before showtime. Choose from the following performances:

Marrakesh Express concert on Friday, December 7, at 8 p.m.

Named after one of the greatest hits penned by Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young, Marrakesh Express pays homage to the classic rock supergroup as it faithfully mimics the intricate vocal harmonies that defined CSNY’s musical catalog. Donning bellbottom jeans, long hair, and vinyl jackets made out of recycled records, the crooners completely immerse themselves in the roles of the ‘70s-era rockers as they belt out memorable tunes such as “Suite: Judy Blue Eyes,” “Woodstock,” “Teach Your Children,” and “Our House.”

Miracle on 34th Street: The Musical on Sunday, December 9, at 4 p.m.

Celebrating the season of giving, Miracle on 34th Street weaves the classic tale of Kris Kringle, a lovable Macy’s Department Store Santa who strikes up controversy when he claims that he is the real thing. Dressed in his red velvet suit, the do-gooding fellow nestles himself snugly into the hearts of shoppers and New York City residents. The musical’s cast carols holiday classics such as “It’s Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas” and “Pinecones and Holly Berries.”

Brass Transit concert on Friday, December 14, at 8 p.m.

Spot-on Chicago tribute band Brass Transit forces double takes with their deft horn playing, jazzy stylings, and clear tenor vocals as they perform hits such as “Saturday in the Park,” “You’re the Inspiration,” and “Does Anybody Really Know What Time It Is?”––a song about being late to a doctor’s appointment. The Toronto-based band boasts eight veteran musicians with impressive resumés, including a bass player who cofounded R & B group Blackstreet and a keyboardist who’s accompanied Aretha Franklin and The Drifters.
