Each event is capped at 50 purchasers; each event requires a minimum of 12 purchasers in order to take place.
What You’ll Do
With influences ranging from the days of Tin Pan Alley to the bluesy Nina Simone, the band Agachiko—named after lead vocalist Gabrielle Agachiko—is comprised of some of Boston’s most well-known musicians, hailing from places like Either/Orchestra and the Revolutionary Snake Ensemble. Meet at the band’s private rehearsal space and record label as you settle in for an evening of incredible jazz. During an intermission with light buffet snacks, you’ll get the chance to mingle with fellow concertgoers and the musicians themselves, before you head back to your seats for another set of incredible jazz.

Renowned Jazz Vocalist
Renowned for her charismatic, soulful voice, vocalist Gabrielle Agachiko is a Boston staple, having performed in theater, film, and a variety of music ensembles. Her current band Agachiko features Grammy-nominated arranger Russ Gershon, founder of Either/Orchestra and the label Accurate Records, and Ken Field of the acclaimed Revolutionary Snake Ensemble, among others. The band’s unique sounds and incredible performances have been reviewed by The Boston Globe and the website All About Jazz.
