  • The Curator: the Global Animation Syndicate (GLAS), a magazine and grant program dedicated to promoting the art and science of animation through education
  • Sights You’ll See: screenings, retrospectives, and installations that amplify the fresh voices of independent animators while also revisiting the careers of animation greats, from Henry Selick (Coraline, The Nightmare Before Christmas) to Steamboat Willie’s documentarians
  • Friendly Competition: a colorful, varied competition of both narrative and experimental shorts will feature 65 official selections from animators hailing from as far as Japan, Estonia, and Switzerland
  • Don’t Miss: Peripheria by David Coquard Dassault, a beautiful think-piece that portrays a modern urban environment slowly becoming wild again after all traces of humanity have left it
