The Scouting Report
The 2015–16 regular season marks the Maryland Terrapins’ second campaign as part of the mighty Big Ten Conference. If last year was merely a season of ice-breaking pleasantries and genteel handshakes, this year the Terps will be looking to position itself as a serious contender in a conference stacked with heavyweights such as Michigan State, Wisconsin, and Ohio State.
Before facing their Big Ten foes, though, the team will have a chance to shift into high gear over four non-conference games to start the season, including this one against the Bulls of South Florida. On the field, head coach Randy Edsall will look for leadership from a redshirt junior at quarterback and a returning senior toting the rock from the backfield.
