The Scouting Report
On October 26, Vikings kicker Blair Walsh nailed a 38-yard field goal as time expired against the Buccaneers to push the game into overtime—and that was just the start of Minnesota’s heroics. That led to the first play in OT when Vikings linebacker Anthony Barr forced a fumble and, instead of bringing the ball to the stadium’s Lost and Found, took it to the end zone for a game-clinching touchdown. These late-season visits from the Panthers and Jets provide plenty of opportunities for heroics on the field and time for star-in-the-making Teddy Bridgewater to solidify his spot as the Vikings’ starting QB.
