GR’s Got Talent Finale
A grocery-store cashier, an elementary-school teacher, a teen hanging out in a local pizza joint—every person might harbor a secret skill. GR’s Got Talent gives West Michigan residents the chance to wow the world with their abilities, as singing guitar players vie against yo-yo masters and a hula-hooper for top honors. Open auditions earlier in the year narrowed the field to 13 kids and 13 adults, with each division competing to win $500, Grand Rapids gift certificates, and the right to yell “who’s laughing NOW?” at least once per family gathering. <p>
