About Book now: Gray Line Tours
Locally owned and operated since 1924, Gray Line Tours New Orleans introduces guests from around the globe to the sights of New Orleans through an eclectic collection of internationally recognized tours, from leisurely walking tours to heart-pounding ghost tours. In addition to taking immersive history or plantation tours, participants can climb aboard an authentic steamboat, which preserves its engine room for this museum-quality exhibit.
Swamp & Bayou Tour: After a short ride across the river (included), guests explore the land and ecosystem within the Louisiana swamps and bayous, all from the safety of a custom-built swamp boat. Visit the nesting grounds of the local wildlife, including alligators, egrets, and nutria, and discover the path seafood takes from water to table.
Ghosts & Spirits Walking Tour: As New Orleans has been dubbed “The most haunted city in America,” guests of this tour are sure not to be disappointed. While visiting several haunted sites and learning of their stories, the colorful history and traditions of the area unfolds in real time. Including haunted hotels, like the Bourbon Orleans Hotel, all the way to voodoo relics and vampire hunting kits, this tour has it all!
Plantation Tour: A journey back in time allows visitors to immerse themselves in the Creole and Cajun cultures and history of South Louisiana, where they get to experience a bygone era in one of the South’s most beautiful settings, Oak Alley Plantation, or take a personal look into the lives of people at Whitney Plantation.
