Haunted Dinner: Spooktacular Dessert Show and Afterlife Party
This spooktacular dessert show features eight live performance acts in the spirit of Halloween, like killer singers, ghostly dancers, creepy clown acts, eerie violinists, freaky contortionists, and a tribute to iconic horror classics.
- The Event: A costumes-encouraged food, drink, and dance extravaganza, now in its second year, described by hosts as “San Francisco’s first ‘haunted house’ meets ‘pop-up dinner’.” Award-winning sommeliers, mixologists, and chefs create the menu, while ultra-elaborate props and staff costumes complete the immersive event.
- The Venue: The Payne Mansion of 1881, a historic—and haunted—Victorian home whose lavish period architecture and three million dollar renovation belies a truly grisly past. At the Haunted Dinner, the ghoulish site’s winding staircases and cavernous corridors will host heaps of bones, tangles of cobwebs, life-sized monsters, goose bump-raising portraits, and other professional-level set pieces.
- The Dessert: I Left My Heart in San Francisco, a red velvet cake that pairs beautifully with the chocolate-and-rum Rude Awakening. Click here to view the full menu, including descriptions and drink pairings.
