For this summer’s Hollywood Show, more than 70 celebrity attendees grace photos and memorabilia with their much prized and often elusive signatures. While roaming the room, fans may spot Henry Winkler, best known as The Fonz, the iconic TV rebel who could slap songs out of a jukebox and water-ski over a shark while wearing a leather jacket. Other TV stars such as Growing Pains’ Tracey Gold or Diff’rent Strokes star Todd Bridges wield fistfuls of Sharpies. Also practicing their cursive are film actors such as Hustle & Flow’s Taryn Manning or Edward Furlong (Saturday only), the young John Connor who teaches Arnold Schwarzenegger human emotions and the meaning of Christmas in Terminator 2: Judgment Day. Signatures can also be sought from former models such as Amber Smith or nontraditional actors such as Joe Alaskey––the vocal cords for Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, and other Warner Brothers cartoon characters––or Doug Jones, a contortionist who bent his body and audiences’ minds with his work in films such as Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer and Hellboy.
