Immersed In Ink Tattoo & Arts Festival
The Immersed In Ink Tattoo & Arts Festival plunges guests into a body-modifying bonanza. More than 120 of the top tattoo artists from around the country will be on hand to ink attendees, adorning skin with intricate designs and writing home addresses on the easily lost. But tattoos just scratch the surface of this festival. A jam-packed schedule of events encompasses a full range of sideshow acts, offering such extreme entertainment as human suspension, pain-endurance contests, and burlesque dancing. The Original Synners Stunt Show Spectacular, for example, sees stars John Shaw and Lady Diabla perform the bullwhip tricks, knife throwing, and illusions they’ve demonstrated on Jay Leno and Comedy Central. Elsewhere, the Ms. Tattoo Pageant crowns the supreme beauty of the festival while tattoo contests let guests compete to determine whose tattoo was most realistic and whose was the worst idea.
