A Practical Guide to Gameday at CenturyLink Field
- Do some vocal exercises. CenturyLink Field’s overhanging roof sends noise from the fans straight back onto the field, and the cheering 12s can reach up to 137.6 decibels, which is louder than a jet takeoff from 100 meters away.
- Get there early for the full experience. Starting three hours before kickoff, Seahawks fans can check out Touchdown City and take part in a variety of games, football skills challenges, and other entertainment. In the stadium, Seahawks legends and local celebrities lead the crowd by raising the 12th Man flag in the South endzone.
- Watch your head. No Seahawks game is ready to start until Taima, the team’s augur hawk, soars across the field.
- Gameday can be busy. Consider public transportation for your commute to the stadium. SoundTransit trains stop at King St. Station just outside the field, and Metro Park & Ride buses are a short walk away at Well and 5th Ave.
