By the session’s end, students will have a greater appreciation for every part of the roll, from rice to wrap.

Your Host
Mamie Nishide
Sushi Chef and Culinary Instructor
Chef Mamie Nishide’s first trip to the US was for business. Graduating from Baruch College, she worked a spell on Wall Street, but soon came to miss the sushi, tempura, and gorgeous desserts from her native Japan. So she turned from business to pleasure, starting Japanese Cooking Studio, starring on Food Network’s Sweet Genius, getting featured in Brides magazine, and giving at-home culinary lessons.
