Like superheroes, ballet dancers possess uncanny leaping abilities, often don colorful tights, and can time-travel when pirouetting fast enough. Catch a glimpse of gracefulness in real time with today’s Groupon: for $84, you get a three-show subscription from the Joffrey Ballet with balcony seating at the Auditorium Theatre (up to a $264 value). Click here to view showtimes and packages. Wheelchair-accessible seating is available, as is seating for those unable to climb stairs.
The Joffrey Ballet, which was established more than half a century ago as a six-person dance troupe traveling in a U-Haul trailer, captivates audiences around the world with their precise footwork and striking performances. A three-show subscription grants visitors balcony seats to this season's lineup of Don Quixote, On the Threshold, and Spring Desire––spread throughout the fall, winter, and early summer. Russian choreographer Yuri Possokhov combines Bolshoi ballet and Spanish dance to tell the story of Don Quixote, adding dramatic flourishes with bullfights, windmills, and a speed-reading of Miguel de Cervantes' novel in record time. On the Threshhold entertains eyes with three shorter contemporary pieces, including the U.S. premiere of "Infra," during which dancers synchronize their bodies to techno figures on a giant LED screen and the music of a Richter quartet. The third show in the series, Spring Desire sets the stage with the romantic preface of “In the Night,” backed by Chopin’s lingering nocturnes; “Age of Innocence,” inspired by women's history under social repression; and the world premiere of new work by innovative choreographer Val Caniparoli.
Each package includes Joffrey membership benefits, including free exchanges, admission to a one-hour gala performance and a subscriber-appreciation event, and discounts on The Nutcracker tickets.
The instructor was very friendly and the class was fun.

It was great! Although they did not expect a lot of people to pick up the tickets prior to the show and the line extended all the way outside and waited a long time to enter the facility. In the future it should have the option to print the tickets online
