Q:

What does g-pass mean? Do we get specific seats or does it mean general admission?

Cynthia P.  asked on  Oct 6, 2013

A:

With a G-Pass™ for a GrouponLive event, there is no need to exchange it for a ticket at the venue, as your G-Pass is actually your ticket. Your G-Pass will include your seating information.

Once the deal closes, it will take up to 48 hours for Groupon to obtain your seating information and place your G-Pass in your account. During this time, your G-Pass will show as processing on your "My Groupons" page.

To print your G-Pass, go to http://www.groupon.com. If you are signed in, you will see your name at the top of the deal page. If you don't see your name, click on the link that says "Sign In" on the right side of the page and then enter the email address and the password you gave us when you made your purchase. If you forgot your password, you'll be able to reset it there.

Once you are signed in, place your cursor over your name and your account menu will drop down. C

Q:

I bought these tix for my daughter and her friend not realizing that they had to have their names (not mine) on them for them to enter the venue. I was able to go back and gift them, but because I ordered two, it is only letting me give them both as a gift to one person. I added my daughters name and her friends name under the message field. Will this suffice or do the tickets actually have to be in the girls names?

tracey w.  asked on  Oct 8, 2013

A:

The name on the Groupon must match the name of the person claiming the tickets at the venue’s box office.
If you purchased this Groupon and are unable to attend this event, please let us know the name of the person who will be redeeming the Groupon instead. If we have this information at least 24 hours before showtime, we'll be able to change the name on the Groupon for you.
