The Key West Aquarium is committed to helping protect the endangered sea turtles. The Aquarium is associated with the Turtle Hospital and Florida Sea Turtle Stranding Network comprised of state agencies, universities and marine parks, all working in the nursing and rehabilitation of injured sea turtles. The Aquarium is currently home to several turtles on the mend and some, due to their injuries, will be permanently housed at the Key West Aquarium

Key West Aquarium
At Key West Aquarium, visitors can wave hello to hundreds of the swiftest swimmers and creepiest crawlies found in the depths of the ocean. From alligators to jellyfish and from crustaceans to great white sharks, the marine life that calls this aquarium its home provide a fun and engaging learning experience for kids and adults of all ages.
- Step up to the Touch Tank and get up close and personal with a wide array of fish to learn about their habits and lives, including sea stars, horseshoe crabs, and sea cucumbers.
- Take an informative tour on topics including Sea Turtle Conservation and Shark Feeding. Guests can even get a walk-through of the aquarium's history.
- Visit each animal's exhibit like the rocky terrain of the alligator exhibit, the darkened depths of the jellyfish exhibit, or the immersive Stingray Bay.
