What You'll Do

Most cooks know how to make at least a few vegetarian dishes, but the always-changing lineup of seasonal produce can make building a year-long repertoire difficult. With Cordon-Bleu-trained chef Kyra Bramble, you'll learn how to take advantage of whatever produce is seasonal and fresh, mixing and matching from a variety of culinary traditions to create varied and delicious veggie dishes any time of the year. During lessons, you will learn to create such delicious dishes as savory cheesecakes, arugula-and-goat-cheese spring rolls, and sweet fruit tarts. Once everything's ready, you'll enjoy the fresh dishes while sipping on wine from a local winemaker.

Vegetarian Cooking Guru

Kyra Bramble was only three when she ran across a giant zucchini in the garden. Impressed by the existence of a vegetable as large as she was, she developed a life-long fascination with produce. Since then, she has earned a degree from Le Cordon Bleu at the California Culinary Institute and travelled the world, augmenting her veggie-cooking prowess in such milieux as Central America, Southeast Asia, and Europe.
