A Little Christmas Starring Rich Little
Think of a celebrity, any celebrity, and odds are Rich Little already has an impersonation in the bag. Since launching his career in 1963, the veteran funnyman and master mimic has amassed more than 200 voices of movie stars and cultural icons, including every president from J.F.K. through Barack Obama. Given the nickname of “The Man of a Thousand Voices” by none other than cartoon voiceover king Mel Blanc, Rich built a comedy empire upon his aping expertise, leading to endless appearances on The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson, The Dean Martin Celebrity Roasts, and The Hollywood Squares.
In his latest one-man show, A Little Christmas, Rich does what he does best with a dash of yuletide charm. Slipping into the voices of popular Christmas crooners such as Bing Crosby, Dean Martin, Nat King Cole, and Frank Sinatra, he keeps fans in stitches as he pulls voice after voice out of his hat. And stretching a bit beyond holidays, too, the show might include impressions of Jack Nicholson and Arnold Schwarzenegger or the wormhole-opening bit in which Rich impersonates Rich Little impersonating Rich Little.
