Black: Expressions of Love
Dance and poetry are powerfully interwoven during Lanita Joseph Dance & Cultural Center’s latest piece, Black: Expressions of Love. Actors and dancers pay homage to Black History Month as well as pertinent current events by focusing on the stories and struggles of 100 black boys and men. After the performance, writer and director Lanita Joseph leads a discussion with the audience about the issues addressed by the show.
