Helldorado Days Festival
In addition to the Helldorado Days Rodeo and PBR Last Cowboy Standing events scheduled, the festival grounds contain three days of carnival rides, games, food, and musical entertainment. From trick rope demonstrations and Wild West gunfights to an Elvis tribute act and a Las Vegas show girls photo op, the festival features a range of Western-inflected fun.
Helldorado Days Rodeo
The Helldorado Days Rodeo lures the world’s top cowboys to Las Vegas for a full weekend of PRCA-sanctioned rodeo action. Throughout the rodeo, hometown and international stars will kick up dust in Las Vegas Village while competing for prize money and points in the global standings. It’s a Sin City tradition that dates back to 1934—the year bulls shifted into the world sports after spending years as family transportation.
PBR Last Cowboy Standing
As one of Professional Bull Riding’s most-popular—and toughest—event formats, Last Cowboy Standing features 40 top riders from around the globe. Every rider will take his turn on the back of a bucking bull; if he manages to ride for the required eight seconds, he advances to the next round. If, however, he gets bucked off or accidentally presses the “Eject” button, he’s eliminated. Competitors will continue to ride until the end of the night, when the last cowboy standing will be crowned champion.
