Laughter is the spark of the soul, which is why comedians can light up rooms during a blackout but cannot be left unattended at gas stations. Enjoy crackling wit with this GrouponLive deal to The Laughing Skull Lounge, located inside The Vortex. For $22, you get a comedy package for two (up to a $57.20 value) that includes:

  • Two general-admission tickets to any regular, non-special-event comedy show (up to a $47.20 value, including all fees)
  • A digital download of The Best of Laughing Skull Festival 2011 (a $10 value)<p>

The Laughing Skull Lounge requires a two-drink minimum per person, which is not included in this Groupon.

Voted Atlanta’s best comedy club in Creative Loafing, The Laughing Skull’s stage presents national and local comedians including well-known names such as Paul F. Tompkins, in an intimate 74-seat room. In March, Joe DeRosa relays anecdotes that range from depression to fast food in a deadpan style that’s seen airtime on Louie and HBO’s Bored to Death. April brings in Jarrod Harris, whose country-fried character work has brought stiff-lipped plastic pals to life on YouTube’s popular Action Figure Therapy series. Harris’s easygoing drawl also knitted together Laughing Skull’s 2011 comedy festival, whose highlights return on The Best of Laughing Skull Festival 2011.

Customer Reviews

best hamburger in the city next door at the Vortex, get there early and enjoy dinner before the comedy

Get in line early with general admission passes. Great place to catch a comedy show. Connected to the Vortex which has really good food but gets really busy so plan on accordingly.
