The games in play: Monopoly, Candy Land, Labyrinth, and Trivial Pursuit
What’s at stake: rulership over the board-game universe, bragging rights, and a valid Commonwealth of Candy Land stamp in your passport
How it’ll go down: Teams face off in four rounds—each of which comes with its own dinner course—while attempting to collect rewards that can be exchanged for weapons, armies, and defenses during the final battle.
Wait, dinner?: Yep. Throughout the competition, enjoy a four-course dinner designed by Chef Isaiah Renner. Each course is inspired by a different board game, from bow-tie pasta farfalle (Monopoly) to smoked salmon pie (Trivial Pursuit).
Side quests: In a bid to win bonuses for their team, players can compete in Jenga and Battleship.
That probably sums it up, huh? Nope. Alongside board games, there’ll also be music and performance pieces.
