In this season’s The Gift, a high-society shopper searches the big city for the perfect present, only to find invaluable insight into the true meaning of Christmas. The faith-based Yuletide tale takes place on an elaborate stage bedecked in thousands of twinkling bulbs, a living nativity scene, and the magical flurry of faux snow. A full orchestra and chorus of 175 accompany the production, filling Life Center’s acoustically excellent hall with festive carols and harmonized imitations of a partridge eating a pear.
