About Lights of the South

Displayed across 100 acres, more than 5 million lights illuminate the world of Christmas that is the Lights of the South. The beautiful, magical experience for the whole family was voted one of the top 20 events in the southeast by The Southeastern Tourism Society. Activities include hay rides, visits with Santa, a Candy Land playground, and a Christmas tree maze. Participants can also roast marshmallows over an open fire and enjoy hot, satisfying dinners and treats served up in Mrs. Claus’ Kitchen.

Excellent place for a family outing for the holidays. Great place for family photos for Christmas too. They have the best hot chocolate! They even had boiled peanuts! Amazing!
