Whenever you mix beer, paint, and deer antlers, you'll almost always turn some heads. During a BYOB workshop, fashion blogger and all-around DIY enthusiast Lily Quateman provides naturally shed animal antlers for you to decorate with vibrant colors, creating a unique conversation piece for your home. Quateman displays some of her own antler designs for inspiration, and demonstrates useful techniques for creating flashy patterns. All the necessary supplies are included in the workshop, and you'll leave with a fully customized, ready-to-hang piece of art.

Take Home Your Own Ready-to-Hang Antler
Quateman equips you with all the materials you'll need, including paints and an ethically obtained antler.
Participants may bring wine or beer to enjoy during the workshop.
Each Event is capped at 9 participants; each event requires a minimum of 5 participants in order to take place.
It's not hard to track down Lily Quateman. Just head to the Brooklyn Flea and look for a table covered in antlers, each painted in a different design. Quateman creates these offbeat pieces of home decor, as well as original jewelry that she sells in boutiques throughout the city. When not creating art, she spends her time writing about fashion and thinking up her next creation. She finds plenty of inspiration on New York's streets as well as at her day job, working at New York Magazine's fashion blog, The Cut.
