When asked about his stage name by The Washington Post, Armando Pérez said he chose the name Pitbull because, “they bite to lock. The dog is too stupid to lose. And they’re outlawed in Dade County. They’re basically everything that I am.” That mix of ferocious determination and roguish charm has proven to be a winning combination—Pitbull’s musical mélange of Latin hip-hop and electronic dance beats echoes through clubs around the globe. The self-proclaimed “Mr. Worldwide” brings the dance floor to the fans during live performances, starting parties with the thudding pulse of breakout single, “I Know You Want Me (Calle Ocho)” and the euphoric, A-ha-sampling “Feel This Moment.”

Named Billboard’s top Hot 100 artist of 2010, electropop sensation Ke$ha electrifies fans with catchy tunes, punchy lyrics, and a larger-than-life persona. With a list of chart-topping hits that includes “TiK ToK,” “We R Who We R,” and “Your Love is My Drug,” Ke$ha charms even the most curmudgeonly ears with irreverent, catchy lyrics and taut, shimmering beats. Quirkily becostumed, Ke$ha sucks fans into a nonstop, glitter-filled night of dancing, performance, and languor-shattering rapture.

Due to security restrictions, G-Passes must be printed out and presented in person at the event. They cannot be redeemed through the mobile app.
Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion
Although music legends such as Elton John, Bette Midler, and Van Halen have graced the stage at the Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion, one uninvited guest attempted to destroy the sprawling amphitheater: Hurricane Ike. But despite the damage caused by the powerful 2008 storm, the Board of Directors spearheaded an intensive renovation to restore the fiberglass roof above the reserved seating area and add seating capacity. Thanks to the repairs, guests continue to flock to the grounds, taking in pop concerts and performances by the Houston Symphony, which makes its summer home at the venue.
