Singer Alessandra Rosaldo and songwriter Chacho Gaytán have come a long way since Sentidos Opuestos’ self-titled 1993 debut. Off that auspicious first album were “Historias de Amor” and “Escribeme en el Cielo,” two chart-climbing tunes that set the tone for their career: reluctantly romantic and irresistibly danceable. Their biggest hit to date took shape in “Amor de Papel,” an electronic ballad to the fragile yet persistent nature of love, especially when courting a paper doll covered in tape. Last year saw the release of Zona Preferente, the duo’s first new album in more than a decade, ushered in by “Dime,” a return to basics with a triumphant hook and intricately entwined synth melodies.
