The Scouting Report
There are 3,600 seconds in a hockey game. Last May, in the decisive game seven of the OHL Championship Series, Knights winger Bo Horvat needed just one second to make history—it just so happened to be the final second of the game. A tick before the buzzer sounded and the ice swirled down the stadium’s drain, Horvat lit the lamp to give his team a 3-2 win over the Barrie Colts.

The goal capped off an unlikely comeback that saw the Knights surmount a 3-1 series deficit, making them just the third team in OHL history to complete such a feat. In the process, the Knights became the 10th team in league history to win back-to-back Robertson Cups.

On August 30, they set out on a quest for a third straight title as they shake off the rust of the offseason, empty any leftover cereal from the Robertson Cup, and return to the ice for a series of exhibition games.
