Tours are fully narrated by local captains, providing insight into the Cajun way of life and the unique ecosystem of the swamps. The tour features a spacious 12'x40' boat captained by knowledgeable natives of the Barataria Swamps. Guests will have the opportunity to see a variety of wildlife, including birds, snakes, turtles, and alligators, as well as fascinating sights such as a fishing village, a 2,000-year-old Indian burial mound, and a Cajun cemetery. Their comfortable tour boats feature cushioned seats, a roof, restroom facilities, and windows that can be raised or lowered for optimal comfort in any weather, ensuring a relaxing and enjoyable experience.

Even though it was COOOLD, the tour was still entertaining. We also appreciated the advice on where to go it!! The food was AMAZING!! The tour, our tour guide, the ENTIRE EXPERIENCE… AWESOME!

LOVED! we went in January i highly recomend going if its warmer yoll see more gators. It was still super cool and loved our tour guide he was hilarious and very informational. Will definetly come again!
