Tours are fully narrated by local captains, providing insight into the Cajun way of life and the unique ecosystem of the swamps. The tour features a spacious 12'x40' boat captained by knowledgeable natives of the Barataria Swamps. Guests will have the opportunity to see a variety of wildlife, including birds, snakes, turtles, and alligators, as well as fascinating sights such as a fishing village, a 2,000-year-old Indian burial mound, and a Cajun cemetery. Their comfortable tour boats feature cushioned seats, a roof, restroom facilities, and windows that can be raised or lowered for optimal comfort in any weather, ensuring a relaxing and enjoyable experience.

This was the best swamp tour ever, if you’re in New Orleans, you definitely need to do this tour. If you’re blessed enough to get our guide, Bobby, who was just the best, that would be a huge bonus. It wasn’t typically a day where you would see a lot of alligators, Bobby did his best to make sure that we saw as many alligators as possible, and called them close to our boat.

Amazing! This is my first time visiting the swamp but let me tell you I will be coming back everytime I’m back in Louisiana and that’s because of guide was nothing lies then amazing! Shoutout to DEWEY WE WILL BE BACK AND TY FOR Everything making us feel like family!
