Love, Loss, and What I Wore

Selections from the show ####The Plot Based on Ilene Beckerman's bestselling book and set on stage by screen scribes Delia Ephron and the late, great Nora Ephron, Love, Loss, and What I Wore unfolds the poignant and funny stories behind the clothes women wear. One hundred minutes of stories about fitting-room afflictions, bra-buying trauma, and coping with mascot-costume separation anxiety fill an experience that the New York Times describes as "a big bowl of buttered popcorn." At times heartwarming, at others heartbreaking, Ephron's loosely knit network of narratives aimed at ladies and their allies aged 11 and older shows the wry but gentle touch seen in her films When Harry Met Sally and Sleepless in Seattle. ####The Actors The five-member cast of the show is stocked with familiar faces from generations of television and theater. Dawn Wells is perhaps best known for her years as the chipper castaway Mary Ann on Gilligan’s Island. Dee Hoty is the three-time Tony Award nominated star of Broadway’s Mamma Mia! and Footloose. Sabrina Le Beauf, forever known as Sondra Huxtable Tibideaux on The Cosby Show, also lends her talents, alongside The Mindy Project’s Amanda Sutton and Gossip Girl’s Zuzanna Szadkowski.
