With baseball's biggest names set to descend upon Kauffman Stadium for 2012's midsummer classic, the All-Star FanFest warms up MLB supporters by showcasing a collection of interactive attractions, giveaways, and some of the game's most decorated legends. On Monday, July 9, FanFest attendees help commemorate players that left an indelible, bubblegum-scented mark on baseball, by warmly welcoming Negro League icons such as Ernie Banks, Monte Irvin, and Minnie Minoso. Meanwhile, on Tuesday, July 10, players from the 1960 and 1973 All-Star teams slide into the proverbial batter's box; honoring the first two times Kansas City hosted the All-Star festivities.

When they’re not fielding autographs from featured guests, fans can scout the convention's lineup of attractions, which include interactive areas where they can test out Wilson gloves, practice swings with Louisville Slugger bats, or perfect bunt signs in the reflection of a shiny Rawlings helmet. Official MLB awards and trophies—such as the World Series trophy—glimmer in one wing, and in another, artifacts and memorabilia exalt former Royals with a "Hometown Heroes" display. Guests can also visit the video-game zone, as well as a collector's showcase, where souvenir buffs are free to buy, sell, and trade relics without fear of the lunch bell ringing.

By purchasing this deal you'll unlock points which can be spent on discounts and rewards. Every 5,000 points can be redeemed for $5 Off your next purchase.
