All Star Monster Truck 2015 Tour

The All Star Monster Truck Tour rings in the New Year at Maverik Center with a weekend of adrenaline-fueled stunts. In the main event, six monster trucks rumble into the arena for a wheelie competition, side-by-side racing, and a daredevilish freestyle competition. In addition to the world debut of “Orange Crush”, the monster truck roster also features a pair of locally grown drivers in Ron Duncombe from West Jordan and Kreg Christensen from South Willard. Before the trucks take the stage, the Kamikaze Kid hits the floor with fire-breathing stunts and a finale in which he sets himself on fire and walks across the arena floor to amaze crowds and shave a little money off of the arena’s heating bill. The evening shows also feature the Maverik Center’s first demolition derby in a decade.

Maverik Center

Like the color of a chameleon or the birthday of a con artist, the Maverik Center can change to suit its purposes. When the ice-hockey championships of a world sports competition came to Salt Lake City in 2002, it comfortably sat 12,000. It can shrink to a 3,700-seat arena for more intimate events such as concerts and family shows. And when cleared, the roughly 17,000 square feet of arena floor make for the perfect venue for a trade show for hundreds or a yelling contest for two.

Customer Reviews

This was a really great value. Got to see some great soccer. Faster paced than field soccer. Great venue, easy to get to and leave.
