Mid–South Fair
- The fair: Since 1856, the Mid–South Fair has been putting on a family-oriented carnival and exposition rooted in promoting local industry and engaging the community in its agricultural heritage. In addition to lining up thrilling attractions, carnival rides, and shows, the fair also features a well-known youth talent contest, whose past performers include Justin Timberlake and Lance Bass.
