The Scouting Report

Starting off strongly this season, the Admirals tied a previous team record by notching 10 straight wins. And as of late February, they lead the Western Conference in wins. The Admirals have a cinder block on the gas pedal, thanks in part to head coach Dean Evason (who coached the Central Division All-Stars this year), AHL All Stars Freddy Gaudreau and Vladisliv Kamenev, and top scorers Max Gortz and Frederick Gaudreau, who have eclipsed the 30-point mark. Indeed, Milwaukee receives contributions from all over the ice, a trend that must continue against the division-rival Checkers. After the final horn sounds on March 19, a Dustin Lynch concert will keep Bradley Center rumbling into the evening.

  • Dustin Lynch: This young country star blends a Clint Black–esque sensibility with edgy pop influences in songs such as “Where It’s At” and “Hell of a Night.”
