About Milwaukee Rep: A Christmas Carol at Pabst Theatre 2025
Every year the staggering scope of the Milwaukee Repertory Theater spans 11 plays—and more than 600 performances. Since first raising its curtain in 1954 at the Fred Miller Theatre, each season has been packed to the brim with both classic and contemporary favorites from Broadway and beyond. Milwaukee Rep’s 2025/26 season, for instance, includes productions of Ayad Ahktar’s recent Broadway premiere McNeal, an exuberant, Tony-Award winning tour through Fats Waller’s music in Ain’t Misbehavin’, and And Then There Were None. As if this weren't a packed enough calendar, Milwaukee Rep also hosts regular cultural events, offers classes for adults and young adults, and commissions new works by resident Wisconsin playwrights.
