On tour celebrating 20 years as a band, Dada descends upon Mojoes with their wry lyrics, Simon & Garfunkel–inspired harmonies, and clean, nimble guitar attack. Affectionately deemed “the Police of the ‘90s” by some, the band found success in 1992 after releasing their debut album, Puzzle, a psychedelically influenced record featuring their biggest single, “Dizz Knee Land.” Reaching No. 5 on the Billboard Rock Chart, the dream-inspired anthem also gained the group spots opening for groups such as Crowded House and Depeche Mode. After releasing a follow-up album, the trio disbanded to pursue solo efforts and donate their flannel shirts to charity. Now, on their first tour since 2004, they reunite to play as Dada and 7Horse, a blues project comprising two of Dada’s members.<p>
With two stories, four bars, a massive soundboard, and 12,600 square feet of room for music to roam, the entertainment complex of Mojoes polishes sonic heirlooms and gives fans breathing room for full-lunged sing-alongs. Polished hardwood floors accentuate a cozy, couch-laden lounge area—a decided class that extends to the concert area in the form of a giant chandelier hanging overhead.
