Grammy-winning and platinum-certified hard-rock and heavy-metal legends band together for a night of guttural howls and shredding riffs

The Deal

Monster Mash Music Fest

  • Linkin Park: Now alt-metal legends, this sextet is celebrating the 15th anniversary of where it all began—Hybrid Theory, their diamond-certified debut (meaning it sold 10 million copies and made Neil Diamond happy). Also on their list of achievements: two Grammys, more than 65 million albums sold, four consecutive #1 studio albums, and the installation of hits such as “In the End” and “Numb” into the world’s core memory.
  • Rob Zombie: The former lead singer of industrial pioneers White Zombie struck out on his own with several landmark horror-inspired albums, including Hellbilly Deluxe. His love of the macabre extends not only to the shock-rock props, set-pieces, and projections of his live show, but to a successful film career as well—he’s directed a Halloween remake, The Devil’s Rejects, and the upcoming 31.
  • Deftones: Alt-metal? Post-hardcore? Prog metal? Psych-Space-Rap-Metal? The Grammy-winning Deftones have stayed defiantly tough to peg in the decades since they dropped 1995’s Adrenaline—a trait that has caused some to call them “the Radiohead of metal.” Get psyched for a set full of LOUD-soft-LOUD classics and sneak peeks into their upcoming album.
  • Puscifer: Maynard James Keenan steps away from Tool and A Perfect Circle to explore, in his words, “the space where my Id, Ego, and Anima all come together to exchange cookie recipes.” Musically, it’s an experimental head-trip of sonic landscapes that celebrates the concept of creativity. Lyrically…just expect to blush through plenty of innuendo.
  • Ghost: The sheer appearance of Ghost might scare the dickens out of the unprepared. This Swedish doom-metal troupe (whose members keep their identities secret) features a rhythm section (dubbed the Nameless Ghouls) who dress in mouthless silver devil masks, while the lead vocalist (Papa Emeritus) looks like the Pope’s demon brother. Live, they pack the theatrics of Alice Cooper and Pink Floyd with music that suggests a Swedish Black Sabbath.
