Event was great. My son loved it. Waiter was terrible, but they waived the drink minimum. Manager used good judgement which seems rare these days. Perfect length for kids.

What You'll Get

Comedy has long been used to subvert the established order, shedding light on modern life’s pervasive absurdities and fomenting distrust of potentially seltzer-filled boutonnieres. Discover some rollicking truths with this deal to a comedy show at Morty’s Comedy Joint. For $12, you get two tickets for general-admission seating (up to a $30 value). Morty’s offers a free parking lot for all attendees and does not require its two-drink minimum for our customers.

After years of rounding up professional comedians from across the country, Morty’s Comedy Joint unleashes the jokesters during a variety of uproariously funny shows inside its classy confines. Midwest native Tim Bedore (May 17–19) can be heard musing on the subversive plots of animal conspiracies both on stage and during his “Vague But True” series on public radio’s Marketplace. Meanwhile, Eddie Ifft (May 24–26) shells laugh-hungry crowds with a quick wit and caustic style that rips into the absurdities of toner ink, which he perceives as the world’s most precious commodity. Alonzo Bodden (July 19–21), winner of Last Comic Standing’s third season, has parlayed his standup success into screen time as host of The Travel Channel series America’s Worst Driver, and has appeared in several films in which he plays a security guard.

Although not included in this deal, guests can silence slow-clapping tummy grumbles with Morty’s bar-style menu and lubricate chuckle tubes with drinks that include microbrews ($4.75/bottle), merlot ($5.50/glass), and tropical, 23-ounce frozen concoctions ($10.50–$11.25). Morty’s Comedy Joint recommends that guests show up 30 minutes before showtime.

This voucher is not valid for shows marked as “special events” on Morty’s calendar. Although prices vary for midweek shows, this deal offers the best deal available.
