My Mother’s Italian, My Father’s Jewish & I’m Home for the Holidays
One of Broadway’s longest running solo shows, Steve Solomon ‘s autobiographical romp My Mother’s Italian, My Father’s Jewish & I’m in Therapy! starring Peter Fogel, introduces the audience to the author’s eccentric extended family in a riff that’s garnered rave reviews throughout the country. Now, in the latest iteration of the show, the dysfunction gets even more fun—and spirited—as the protagonist heads home for the holidays. Audiences can expect even more affectionate impersonations of Solomon’s kin as Fogel takes linguistic leaps through various spot-on accents, sound effects, and diverse characterizations, all in the name of trying to make it through Thanksgiving and Hanukkah.
