Nitro Circus Live
Since 2010, Nitro Circus has been one of the world’s most successful action-sports touring acts, riding the wave of MTV’s immensely popular Nitro Circus TV show. The tour has sold approximately two million tickets over the last five years, with the inaugural 2014 North American tour grossing over $10 million in ticket sales. Nitro Circus now returns to the US and Canada for an expanded 24-stop tour. Known as the Cirque Du Soleil of action-sports, the event is a fully-choreographed, two-and-a-half hour theatrical spectacular, versus a competitive sports offering.
17-time X Games medal winner Travis Pastrana is accompanied by some of the world’s most talented and death-defying freestyle motocross, BMX, and scooter riders—such as Josh Sheehan and Adam Jones—and local athletes all on the big stage. Tour goers have witnessed dozens of World Firsts, including the FMX double backflip, BMX triple backflip, and an array of backflip variations on all of the apparatuses. State-of-the-art pyrotechnic and lighting displays also illuminate outrageous contraptions taking on the jet-powered Nitro slingshot, such as barbie cars, kids’ big wheels, bath rubs, a couch, shopping carts, and more.
