The Canada Day fireworks show, held on Sunday, July 1, will feature several food vendors and a lineup of live musical acts. Motion Grove beckons audience members to dance during a set of reggae-infused tunes rife with optimism. Later on in the night, The Girls Can Hear Us showcases the celebratory raps of Will Steep anchored by the playful electronica beats of Mike Dunn. The centerpiece of the evening arrives in the form of a 20-minute fireworks show that begins at 10 p.m. Gates open at 6 p.m., and kids ages 5 and younger are free. Proceeds go to the Elgin Military Museum in support of Project Ojibwa. <p>
