What You’ll Do
Fill up on a complimentary breakfast before heading outdoors to a stunning wintertime escape, such as the Hudson Valley or the Catskill Mountains, where you’ll explore the trails by snowshoe. Your guide provides basic instruction before you glide along old paths, rustic terrain, and fantastic scenery, making sure to stop for photo ops and a lunchtime picnic. After spending the afternoon soaking up the mesmerizing landscape, you’ll relax at a local vineyard while sampling some of their finest wines.
Traipse through untouched snow as you take in the spectacular views and scenery of a regional park.
Vineyard Visit and Wine Tasting
Relax and uncork as you sip several wine varieties at a vineyard located along the Shawangunk Wine Trail.
NOTE: Transportation from NYC provided. You must wear boots or hiking shoes to the experience (no sneakers). Wear comfortable clothing that’s warm and wicking (no cotton), and at least one pair of thick socks. Layers, long underwear, and waterproof or water resistant outerwear is recommended. If you are not sure, bring more clothing than you think you need as extra items can be left in the van.

The adventure seed was planted early on for Jim as he grew up taking family canoeing trips along the Delaware River, ski trips to Vermont and summer vacations in Maine. He’s had experience with nearly every kind of outdoor excursion, from kayaking to mountaineering to sponsored mountain bike racing.
