Pick up your favorite bottle of wine and head to kitchen of a lifelong Spanish cook, Patricia Gonzalez, for a delicious excursion into the world of all things tapas. Depending on what ingredients are in season, make dishes like tortilla española (potato and onion omelet), ensaladilla rusa (traditional Spanish salad), stuffed mushrooms and peppers, and salmorejo (cold tomato soup). Once you’ve worked up an appetite, sit down to enjoy a tasting of your flavorful creations.

Although Patricia Gonzalez worked in finance and banking for 12 years, when she moved to the States, she decided to pursue her true passion: Spanish food. It might have been a career change, but Patricia was no amateur, as she was practically raised in the kitchen alongside her mother and grandmother—not to mention the pair of restaurants that her uncles run. Today, Patricia is passionate about catering parties, sharing her food with friends, and showing others how to boost their cooking skills.
