PBR: 25th Anniversary Tour
Sweetpro’s Bruiser. Pearl Harbor. Bad Beagle. These aren’t the monikers of professional wrestlers, or even the most popular baby names of 2017—they’re the bulls set to stampede into Madison Square Garden in January 2018. These beasts will rumble through the arena while attempting to launch world-champion riders from their backs as part of the PBR: 25th Anniversary Tour.
At 2017’s Madison Square Garden event, Montana cowboy and reigning PBR World Champion Jess Lockwood opened the season with a win on his way to a historic title run as the youngest PBR champion in the sport’s history. He’s competing alongside four other world champions, Cooper Davis (2016), JB Mauney (2013, 2015), Silvano Alves (2011, 2012, 2014), and Guilherme Marchi (2008), as well as 2017 Rookie of the Year and 2017 PBR Brazil champion, Jose Vitor Leme. The series schedule culminates in November with the World Finals, where the series champion receives the coveted championship belt buckle and his share of the prize money.
